A scrumptious Tuscan Chicken cream sauce over a bed of fettuccine pasta makes for the perfect quick and easy weeknight dinner!
We adore the “tuscan” kind of sauce around here. It’s cream based with garlic, Parmesan, and sun-dried tomatoes…usually with spinach. My boys get such a kick out of the spinach “melting” into the sauce.
The fettuccine noodles soak up the savory flavors, creating a comforting and easy to pull off on a weeknight dinner.
This dish brings a little taste of Tuscany and Italy to your table with every bite!
Chicken Tuscan Fettucinne
You will adore this powerful flavorful combination from the shredded chicken, tangy sun-dried tomatoes, and creamy sauce on a bed of fettucinne pasta. Enjoy!
Servings - 6 servings
Ingredients
- 16 oz. fettuccine noodles
- 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
- 6 oz. bag fresh spinach
- 4 oz bag sun-dried tomatoes
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- grated Parmesan cheese garnish
Instructions
- In a large saucepan or stock pot, cook the pasta as directed on the package.
- Over medium heat, cook the fresh spinach in when the browned sausage, until is shrinks down. Stir in the sun-dried tomatoes, shredded chicken, heavy cream and chicken stock. Let simmer over low heat until the pasta is ready.
- Serve the Chicken Tuscan sauce over the cooked fettuccine, with dusting of grated Parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
