How is this new Summer Slow Cooker meal plan different from other plans?
This is not a freezer cooking meal plan. This is not a ‘make it all ahead of time’ plan. This is a start the slow cooker every morning, so you can go about your busy day plan.
(I feel like the summer is busier than the school year sometimes. Between camps, work, and mixing in some pool fun…it gets busy. Yes, even “busy relaxing” in the pool. That’s a thing. A real, legit thing. But it doesn’t mean I’m off the hook from making dinner. Because I’m busy having fun! LOL!)
This meal plan consists of 6 recipes each week, with 5 dinners and a dessert or side dish, with accompanying shopping list for all the recipes for that week. You can make those meals throughout the week, just leaving your slow cooker on the counter.
This meal plan has no repeats from the original 6-Week Slow Cooker Meal Plan that we released in 2015. This is all new meals and recipes especially for the summer.
Who is this 6-Week Summer Slow Cooker Meal Plan for?
This plan is for anyone who has a busy summer plan and doesn’t want to worry about dinner, or come home early from the pool or other activities to make dinner.
Who is this plan is NOT for?
This plan is not for everyone. If you don’t like slow cooker meals, this isn’t for you. Except, these aren’t your typical slow cooker meals either – salmon in the slow cooker, yessem. Curry in the slow cooker, yup yup. Shredded meats for tacos – well, that’s kinda typical slow cooker.
But seriously, if you aren’t in love with your slow cooker…carry on.

The plan has 6 weeks worth of meals with 6 meals in each week. There are 5 dinner meals plus a snack or dessert recipe, on each of the weekly lists. Some are recipes that we’ve featured on the site in the past on the website and some are brand new recipes! There are no repeats from the original 6-Week Slow Cooker Meal Plan.
