Slow Cooker Mustard Beef Roast
This tangy, zesty mustard-garlic sauce glazes onto this slow cooked beef roast that shreds to perfection. Enjoy!
Servings - 4 servings
Ingredients
- 2 to 3 lb. beef chuck or round roast
- salt and pepper dusting
- 1/2 cup whole grain mustard or spicy brown mustard
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt and pepper EACH
- baked or mashed potatoes side dish
- veggies side dish
Instructions
- Place the beef roast into the base of the slow cooker and sprinkle with a dusting of salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, combine the mustard, olive oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper and mix into a sauce. Spoon and brush the mustard sauce directly onto the beef roast, coating the top of it.
- Note: If you slow cooker runs hot and tends to dry out food, add 1/2 cup of water or beef broth around the beef roast.
- Slow cook on low for 8 hours. Once cooked, cut and shred lightly.
- Serve Slow Cooker Mustard Beef Roast with sides like mashed or baked potatoes and some fresh veggies. Enjoy!
