Every now and again, I play this game of…
I don’t feel like cooking what’s on the menu…
But I also don’t wanna drop $55+ in the drive thru…
So……..
Let’s see what I can forage from the pantry and freezer to make dinner…
And this is what I made the other night, and it was DELICIOUS!
- Chicken sausage from the freezer.
- Gluten-free pasta from the freezer. (See our favorite GF items from Trader Joes!)
- Alfredo sauce from the pantry, super discount from online grocery delivery deal.
- Shredded mozzarella.
- Dash of nutmeg.
Put it all together and YUM!

Gluten-Free Sausage Alfredo Pasta Bake
A delicious 5-ingredient pasta bake with sausage, Alfredo sauce and gluten free pasta.
Servings - 8 servings
Ingredients
- 16 oz. gluten-free pasta or regular pasta!
- 12 oz. bag frozen broccoli
- 15 oz. jar Alfredo sauce
- 12 oz. pre-cooked sausage cut into bite size pieces
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- dashes of nutmeg optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Cook the pasta as directed on the bag. With 2 minutes left in the pasta cooking cycle, add the frozen broccoli. Drain the pasta and broccoli and transfer to the prepared baking dish.
- Add the sausage pieces into the baking dish with the pasta and broccoli. Pour the Alfredo sauce over the top, and gently combine with the other ingredients. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top into an even layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cheese has melted. Add a few dashes of nutmeg over the top before serving.
- Serve Gluten-Free Sausage Alfredo Pasta Bake with favorite veggies or side salad. Enjoy!
