Make this when you want your fave seasonal sandwich and it’s not longer available in the restaurant…
This sandwich is only available to purchase for 2 months out of the year!
Now, you can make it at home when it’s not available in the restaurant.
This is as close to perfect as I can get it.
The key is using the “just bare” brand of chicken. The batter recipe is reportedly quite similar to that of CFA. This chicken is also available at Costco under their private label, Kirkland’s Signature brand. Look for “cooked chicken breast fillets” in the freezer aisle and you should find it.

COPYCAT Chick Fil A Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich
You won't know the difference with this copycat! Make this when you want your fave seasonal sandwich and it's not longer available in the restaurant.
Servings - 4 sandwiches
Ingredients
- 4 oz. cream cheese softened
- 3 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 8 oz. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 4 oz. diced pimento pepper drained
- 4 oz. diced green chilies drained
- Salt and pepper
- 4 Just Bare or Kirkland frozen chicken fillets
- 4 hamburger buns buttered and toasted
- pickled jalapeƱo slices with honey drizzles OR garnish
- spicy hot honey drizzles garnish
Instructions
- Cook the frozen chicken fillets as directed on the bag.
- Butter and toast the buns.
- Mix up the pimento cheese topping by combining the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, shredded sharp cheddar cheese, pimentos, green chilies and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Assemble the sandwiches with cooked chicken fillet on the buttered and toasted bun with the pimento cheese on top, garnished with pickled jalapenos and a drizzle of honey or a drizzle of "hot honey." Enjoy!
