Blondies plus white chocolate chips, cinnamon chips, and a powdered sugar glaze make for the most delightful dessert!
We loved this Cinnamon Roll Banana Bread so much that I thought a blondies version was in order. The banana bread makes for a great snack or even breakfast, while these blondies are definitely sweeter and best for dessert!
Enjoy!
Cinnamon Roll Blondies
A magical blondie brownies recipe with cinnamon chips and white chocolate chips, topped with a sweet glaze! But the best part is that these are "one-bowl" blondies!!
Servings - 12 blondies
Equipment
- 1 Spoonula
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter melted
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups white flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup cinnamon chips
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
Glaze
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 2 Tbsp melted butter
- 1 Tbsp milk or 1 1/2 Tbsp, until desired consistency reacher
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. Spray a 9" square pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a large glass mixing bowl, melt the butter. Then stir in the brown sugar. Once smooth, add the eggs and vanilla and mix again until batter is smooth. Add the flour, baking powder and salt and mix until the batter forms. It will be thick.
- Fold in the cinnamon chips and the white chocolate chips with the Spoonula, then transfer into the prepared baking dish. Press the batter/dough into an even layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 32 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean in the center. Let cool at least 10 minutes before glazing and slicing. **Note: I prefer for these to be completely cooled before glazing, but that requires a little extra patience! If you glaze while still warm, the glaze with be more of a coated glaze vs. a drizzle glaze as it will melt on the warm blondies. Enjoy!
