Cheesy Beef Garlic Loaf Bread
This cheesy beef garlic bread combines rich, savory beef with buttery, garlicky bread that's loaded with melted cheese.
Servings - 8 servings
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 small white onion finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp steak or other seasoning blend
- 1 large French loaf bread
- 6 Tbsp butter softened
- 1 tsp garlic powder sprinkled onto the butter
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 6-8 slices Provolone cheese
- veggies or salad as side dish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 F. Line a baking sheet with silicone baking mat or spray with non-stick cooking spray.
- Slice the loaf bread open and lay flat on the baking sheet. Spread the softened butter onto both pieces of loaf bread, then season with garlic powder. The beef is already salted, so I wouldn't use garlic salt with the butter.
- In a skillet brown the ground beef with the finely chopped onion and seasoning and drain.
- Spoon the browned seasoned ground beef onto the loaf bread and then add pinchfuls of shredded Monterey Jack cheese into a single layer, then add the sliced provolone cheese over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until cheese has fully melted.
- Serve Cheesy Beef Garlic Load Bread with favorite veggies or side salad
