A fun and ridiculously delicious twist on sloppy joe sandwiches.
Instead of using ground beef, you slow cooker a beef roast with the thick and chunky sloppy joe sauce and a can of diced tomatoes. The acidity from the tomatoes helps soften and tenderize the beef roast, and the sloppy joe sauce infuses it’s flavors into the meat as it slow cooks.
Serve on sandwich buns or bolillo rolls and enjoy a simple, delicious meal outside on the deck or back patio this summer!
