Slow Cooker Saucy Meatballs

Servings - 4 servings
Ingredients
- 1 lb. precooked frozen meatballs
- 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
- 15 oz. can tomato sauce
- 3 Tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1 Tbsp onion powder
- 1 Tbsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp white sugar
- Salt and pepper
- Garnish: grated Parmesan cheese
- Side: spaghetti
- Side: salad
Instructions
- To the slow cooker, add the precooked meatballs and pour the crushed tomatoes and tomato sauce over the top. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, and sugar over the top. Gently stir to combine. Add salt and pepper, to taste.
- Set the slow cooker on low and cook for 8 hours, or high for 4 hours. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste, before serving.
- Cook the spaghetti.
- Prepare the salad.
- Serve Slow Cooker Saucy Meatballs over spaghetti with grated Parmesan cheese garnish and a side salad.
Freezer Meal Instructions
- To a gallon-size freezer baggie add the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, onion power, garlic powder, and white sugar.
- Remove as much air as possible from the bag and seal.
- Put baggie in the freezer and freeze up to 6 months in fridge freezer or 12 months in a deep freezer.
- Thaw in the fridge overnight, or a warm bowl of water for about 20 minutes, before transferring to the slow cooker and cooking on low for 8 hours, or high for 4 hours. Serve over pasta with Parmesan garnish, and with side salad.
