Save Money on Groceries when you Freeze Bulk Ingredients That You Buy at Warehouse Stores
Going into the warehouse store is a situation.
It’s a situation with the giant grocery cart (or multiple carts…or the giant flatbed cart).
It’s a situation with yourself as you decide whether or not you neeeeeeeed that one thing.
It’s a situation trying to guesstimate how many items to get, or if you have storage space, or if there is room in the freezer.
It’s a situation at the checkout where you try not to wince when they announce the total. (Excuse me sir, could you say that quieter…because maybe it’ll seem like less $$ if he says it quieter??)
I work my trips to the warehouse store into my grocery budget by going every 5-6 weeks. I fell into this rhythm years ago and it stuck. I can get just what I need for bulk pantry items…but there are some perishable things that I know we won’t use up immediately…so…I freeze them.
I shared a compilation of what I freeze in 3 part “Reels” over on Instagram…and let’s just say they were a hit!
Below is a collection of all 3 videos, and below the video is a bullet list of bulk ingredients you can freeze.
I hope this helps you plan for your bulk shopping trips, and helps you make the most of the products you buy.
