Oh, we love chips and dips around here. It usually doesn’t take long for a bowl of salsa or queso or guacamole to get polished off by my voracious crew!
The next favorite on the list is this Taco Dip! It’s hearty, it’s simple, and it’s super affordable too!

Here’s what we need to make this amazing taco dip…
Combine the beans, cream cheese and sour cream.
(This is a stand mixer bowl.)
Combine together and stir in the cheese, salsa and taco seasoning.
Then, transfer the dip into an oven-safe bowl.
Now, top with remaining cheese.
Now, top with remaining cheese.
Bake in the oven, as directed.
Then, serve with your favorite chips (or other dippers – veggie crudites would be great for this too!)
The BEST & EASIEST Taco Dip!
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 packet taco seasoning or 2 Tbsp homemade taco seasoning
- 16 oz can refried beans
- 2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese, divided
- 1 cup salsa
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine your cream cheese, sour cream and refried beans and mix together. You'll need a hefty flat spatula, or even a stand/hand mixer.
- Mix in your taco seasoning, 1 cup of shredded Mexican blend cheese and 1 cup of salsa.
- Scoop into a oven safe bowl, top with the remaining shredded cheese and bake for 25 minutes. Add a few more dollops of salsa on top, when served.
- Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy!
