Friend. Can we chat for a minute?! I am completely blown away by how much you love these plans. Seriously, THANK YOU for sharing these plans, emailing me about your experiences, sharing on Instagram and Facebook and for whatever way you spread the word about these meal plans. I’m filled with gratitude and will continue to work hard to provide great meal plans for you….including this next one. But before we get to the plans, I need to share the MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS that we’ve made around here…
- We made dramatic changes to the Assembly Process & Instructions and they will be much more clear for you to use as you assemble and cook the meals in this plan.
- We had a professional come in to shoot the videos of the assembly process…no more blurry screen and difficult times hearing me…the downside of shooting videos in your kitchen from my laptop! I brought the big guns in and you’re going to love the videos (and all the ‘live bloopers’ too)!
- We are also offering a regular version of this plan.

One of the most challenging parts to pulling together a large number of meals like this at once is knowing what to do first, next, then and last. When you do things ‘out of order,’ it really can mess up the assembly process and cause you to waste a.lot of time in the kitchen. I’ve created several new printables and instructional videos that will actually make the assembly as smooth and quick as possible for you. Seriously, I might have done a celebratory dance when I finished the assembly…and you will want to as well!

I like your recipes, but I don’t see a place where you put which meal in which bag.
I really need this. Example: carrots in bag 1-2, 5-6, etc.
I hope you have this available.

I was excited about this, but the first recipe listed, BBQ meatballs, is not gluten free! It has breadcrumbs. I did not look at the other recipes all, but if you are going to call this plan gluten free, the recipes should indeed not contain any gluten.
Jenn K says
The printables explain any GF variations including using GF breadcrumbs etc.
Johanna says
Yes, but then it is not 21 meals for $150 since GF breadcrumbs cost 4X as much as regular ones. I was just a bit disappointed when I saw that. I was excited about something that wasn’t exactly what it said.
Debra says
I won’t buy GF bread crumbs as they are way too expensive. Growing up my non GF family always made porcupine meatballs (rice instead of bread crumbs) and meatloaf with oatmeal instead of bread. The shopping list is basically the same I just grabbed my recipes for these two dishes made a few adjustments. Not a big deal and I still had my costco shopping list and menu ideas. We also forgo the GF pasta and just serve those dishes on a bed of rice. We love rice anyways so it was not a big deal. 🙂

Update: My kids have loved these. The cajan chicken, sloppy joes, pulled pork and more. This morning as my teenager was getting ready for school she asked me what was for dinner because she was looking forward to another great meal from this plan. Yeah!! My kids didn’t love the crockpot plan (they just don’t like potatoes in the crockpot and the crockpot taste) but they rave about this one.
Jamie says
When you make your porcupine meatballs, do you cook the rice first? And do you cook the oatmeal before adding it to your meatloaf?
Jamie says
The pasta dishes are misleading… I looked over the shopping list multiple times before I discovered the “fine” print at the bottom stating that gluten free pasta would need to be purchased elsewhere. — This increases the price of these meals DRAMATICALLY. And Costco does carry a decent GF pasta, 3 pkgs for about $7.99. Granted, for these meals that would add approx $16 to the total, but GF pasta typically cannot be located for under $2/pkg ($1.84 at Walmart for corn pasta is the lowest cost I’ve found). This should definitely be addressed- either reflect that in the total or serve with a lower cost option such as rice. Leaving out the gf specific items and then claiming it’s a gf meal plan for x dollars is VERY misleading. Eating GF is so much more expensive, when I see your meal plans I get excited and think- “maybe I can cut the budget!”… but that’s not the case. Also, we purchase many items like eggs, butter, and chicken stock at Costco- perhaps that’s because we are a large family (8), but they definitely don’t seem more expensive to me when I cost compare to the same quality products elsewhere. Maybe that’s because we are on the West Coast and it’s more expensive here?
Rachel says
A great inexpensive pasta option is the brown rice/quinoa pasta at Trader Joes. If you have one nearby.

I always use the GF bread ends for bread crumbs and make my own. Just pop them in the oven on a tray on low heat until they are dry and crunchy, and then blend them in the blender or food processor until they are “crumbs”. Then I store them in a baggie in the freezer until I need them.

How in the heck do I actually buy this plan? I have clicked the links provided, and its not available in the online store.. ? Help!
